Why choose tile effect steel roofing?
A tile effect sheet replaces dozens of individual tiles with one lightweight panel, so a garage or outbuilding roof can be weather-tight in hours rather than days. Steel sheets weigh a fraction of concrete tiles, need lighter roof timbers, and will not crack, slip or blow off like individual tiles.
Plastisol or polyester?
Plastisol is the premium, textured finish with the best resistance to scratching and weathering, the choice for homes and visible roofs. Polyester gives the same tiled look for less on sheds and outbuildings.
Tile effect or pan tile?
Tile effect sheets have a stepped, traditional slate-and-tile look. Pan tile effect sheets have a deeper, rounded Mediterranean pan tile profile.

Tile effect roofing sheets: FAQs
How long can tile effect sheets be?
Up to 5 m per sheet, made to the length you enter. Longer slopes are covered with end laps.
Can tile effect sheets be used on houses?
Yes. They are widely used on extensions, porches, garages and garden rooms. Check with your local planning or building control officer if your property has restrictions.
Do they need anti-condensation backing?
For unheated or uninsulated buildings such as garages and stables we recommend it, as it prevents condensation dripping inside.
